Pricing for your Altered Masterpieces

✨ Alteration prices exclude the base card cost and shipping fees.
Prices are indicative and may vary depending on the complexity of the project.

🎨 I work closely with the original illustration, drawing inspiration from its colors and brushwork, while adding my own creative interpretation and unique details.

🌿 What I do: I specialize in landscape painting and offer Full Art MTG Lands, along with Borderless and Full Art extensions to expand and enhance the original illustration.

🚫 What I don’t do: No fan art or original characters, portraits (human or pets), gore, or erotica.

MTG Borderless Extension

  • ✓ The border and bottom of the card are modified with colours matching the illustration.

MTG Full art Landscape

  • ✓ For the full art landscape, I take a MTG Land card and I repaint a landscape of my own composition on it, keeping the title.

    ✓ I’m inspired by a landscape photo or a work in the public domain (a work created 70 years after its author’s death)

MTG Full Art Extension

  • ✓ I expand the card’s illustration across the entire surface of the card.

    ✓ I can keep the title banner in its entirety or, depending on the card, paint on the title banner as close as possible to the title and mana.

Pokémon or Lorcana Extension

Embellishments

✨ Optional Enhancements for your Card
You can choose to add special embellishments like gold or silver leaf and metallic paint. These options are entirely optional and can be combined with Borderless and Full Art extensions to give your card a unique and elevated finish.

Gold or Silver Leaf Designs

  • ✓ I carefully design areas for gold or silver leaf, considering drying times and the layering process.

    ✓ A special varnish layer is applied to protect the leaf.

    ✓ For intricate designs, I use high-quality metallic paints to replicate a similar shine.

Metallic Paint

  • ✓ I use a brush to paint the details, offering a more cost-effective alternative to precious metals.

    ✓ Can be paired with gold or silver leaf for a refined finish, adding elegance to your card.

🧙 How to Summon Your Altered Card

Personalized alterations: follow these simple steps to create a unique card.

  • 1️⃣ Choose Your Card & Style – Select the card you want altered and the style you prefer.
    2️⃣ Submit a Request – Fill out the form and share your ideas.
    3️⃣ Sketch Approval – I create a sketch for your approval.
    4️⃣ Send Your Card – Once approved, you can send me your own card or purchase one via Cardmarket (for Europeans).
    5️⃣ Painting & Delivery – I paint the card and ship it safely to you.

    • Full Art Extensions (MTG, Pokémon, Lorcana): I create a detailed sketch to plan the design and composition, ensuring a harmonious final result.

    • MTG Full Art Landscape: A complete sketch is necessary to design the entire landscape, including elements like characters or animals.

    • Borderless Cards (Options: Signature, Masterpiece, Legendary): I create a sketch before painting to refine the design and ensure cohesion.

    • Borderless Extensions (Option: Classic): I do not create a sketch due to the small surface area and the ease of color matching from the original illustration.

    • Wait time: Currently 6 months due to increased demand.

    • Deposit: A €40 non-refundable deposit is required per card for research and sketch creation.

    • Remaining balance: Due at the start of the painting month, including shipping costs.

    • Payment methods: Payments via PayPal, bank transfer, or other methods available on the site.

  • No. Prices shown are for artwork (alteration) only.

    • The card must be supplied by you, or purchased extra.

    • You are also responsible for return postage.

  • Your card will be securely shipped via registered mail.

    It's placed in a protective sleeve, inside a top loader, and the package is further secured with padded envelopes and light cardboard.

  • Yes! A personalized message can be included with the card.


    You can also offer a gift card in varying amounts for someone to contribute towards a future commission. It's a great way to let them choose their perfect altered card.

  • That depends on the tournament and the judge's decision. Always check with the event organizers, and bring the unaltered version just in case.
